Kida woke, warm, still in bed with Celia. They had drifted off sometime in the night (or was it early morning?) as Kida tried her best to recall every event in her book. Her retelling may or may not have been completely accurate to the print since Kida had undergone so many revisions. Her heart sank as she recognized the room they were still in. It was disheartening to know they were still trapped in the room. Someone should have come looking for her by now. She felt terrible about just sleeping in this place. But it had been so late, she hadn't even tried to move the furniture to see if there was a way out when Celia was asleep, and she had been so tired. She sighed to herself. At least they had the game of monopoly sitting in the corner to occupy their time, she thought sarcastically.
What she noticed was odd was that by the door, there was a tray of food waiting for them. She sat up slowly to eye to contents. She was pretty sure it was granola with some berries mixed in. She was too far away to discern what kinds of berries. A carton of milk and two cups of steaming hot coffee was sitting seemingly innocent. Did their captor honestly expect them to eat that? Did they really think the girls were that desperate to eat food from a stranger? Who knows what sort of drugs that person could have laced them with?!
She laid back down, deciding not to get out of bed to disturb Celia too much. The blonde needed whatever sleep she could get. And Kida would rather the girl sleep away so she was not forced to cope with captivity. A gentle heart like Celia's probably wouldn't handle long in these circumstances.

Celia awoken she felt a bit better. Opening her eyes. Scratch that... They were still here. She closed her eyes again sighing. It hurt to be here. She did not want to be here. Feeling Kida move. "Don't go." She muttered. Opening her eyes. "I don't want to be alone."

"I'm not leaving," Kida said. "There's food here. I'm going to see if the door is open, but I'm not leaving without you."
She got up and out of the bed anyways, padding over to the meal left out for them. The door was still shut tight, even when she tugged on the door. She then looked down at the food, innocently waiting for them. She took a deep breath before picking up the tray and brought it back to the bed. She frowned as she looked down at it. Was it safe to eat? Food obviously meant their captor intended to keep them there for a long time.

Celia got up to see Kida go to the door. She brought the food back to bed. Celia frowned. Food? Now she thought of it she was pretty hungry. "Can we eat it?" She asked. It didn't look bad. "Seems like they want to keep us here.."

Kida bit her lip, looking it over. It could be poisoned. It could be drugged. They didn't know. She looked up at the cameras. They had no idea what their captor had in mind. For all they knew it could be a new prostitution ring, preparing them to be the new girls. Or it could be a ransom. She didn't know.
"I'll try it first." she said. "We wait ten minutes and if anything happens to me, don't touch it."
She picked up the cup of coffee and took a sip before Celia could protest. Then she set it back down. Now they had to wait, see if anything happened to her.

Kida was really worried about the food. When she suggested to take some, Celia wanted to protest. But she was too late because Kida already did. She looked at her roommate a bit scared. "And..?" She asked after a few minutes. Looking at Kida. "What if it isn't poisoned?" She asked. Looking at the tray.

"Well I haven't croaked or passed out yet." Kida mused. "I guess it's safe to eat."
That was as equally unsettling as the thought of the food being poisoned. Their captor intended to keep them alive. But for what? Kida spared a glance over to the camera once again before she shook her head. They would have to keep up their strength if they intended to escape because it seemed like help wasn't coming as quickly as she hoped. She passed Celia the other cup of coffee.
"The coffee wasn't half bad."

She took the offered coffee. "Thank you.." She said. Taking a sip. "How did you sleep?" Celia asked. Looking at Kida. The atmosphere was still very tense. She didn't blame Kida nor herself for it. This situation was difficult. Celia looked at the food. Then to her coffee. Taking a sip letting the warmth of the coffee warm her body. It wasn't necassarily cold. But she didn't feel very warm either..

Kida took a bite of the yogurt and granola. It was okay. Warmer than it should be (room temperature instead of chilled) so perhaps it had been sitting there for a little while or it had sat too close to the hot coffee mugs. She had slept okay, or rather as fine as she would when they had been kidnapped. No need to scare Celia with those thoughts right now. The blonde had enough of that yesterday.
"I slept fine," Kida replied. "What about you?"

Celia cracked a smile. Watching how Kida ate it. "I slept alright...And is the yogurt poisoned? Or the granola?" She asked with another soft smile. "I doubt they'd kill us already.." She answered looking at the plate before looking at Kida once more. "If they wanted us dead they would have done so already. Instead of going through the trouble in order to kidnap us.... I'm certain we are their entertainment." Celia pointed at the camera. "I started thinking about it when you were asleep..." Celia said as she took another sip. "There's more to it than we might know now..."

"They're both fine," Kida assured her. "Eat up."
Celia's cynical line of thought hadn't dissipated through the night. Kida's paranoia probably hadn't helped the blonde. She couldn't say they would get out of there. She couldn't make any promises at all. If she did and something happened, Celia would never trust anyone ever again. She would also hate Kida for 'lying' to her. Filling her with false hope was like taking away the real hope.
"Celia," she murmured, for once at a loss for words.

Celia laid her hand on Kida's. "I was just speculating.." She said giving Kida a bit of a smile. She took her hand back. Taking some of the food. She shouldn't speak further it would upset Kida. The woman seemed at a loss. "We just have to make the most of now.... This room isn't so bad and we're getting food..." Celia tried to see the positive part.

Speculating things like that was bad for the both of them. Not much Kida could do about that though. She couldn't tell Celia what to think. It didn't help they had nothing to do in a room with no books, no working television or anything else to take their minds off their captivity.
"How was the shower?" Kida asked since she had yet to use it.

"The shower was fine.." She answered. "It's just a regular shower. Very luxurious considering we are prisoners.." Celia shrugged continuing to eat. She liked this room. It was good. Though she would've prefered to be free and not trapped...

Kida gave a weak smile back. Sure, she was no happier about being a prisoner either but the focus on it wasn't going to help either of them keep their sanity. She smoothed a hand through her hair, realizing that she should probably take a shower too since they were going to stay there for a while.
"Who's waiting for you back home?" Kida asked.
