Time for dinner: Szechuan chilli chicken

As she was napping onto the bed, she was looking up at the ceiling, thinking that she as going to be outside walking around, trying to get money from her job. She wished that she was outside right out about now, even though her job was based on sex for money. She just wanted to be outside and just see nature again, like the birds flying around and hearing chirps from them. As she was slowly waking up from the bed, she did smell something good, and it was finally some food. She then saw that Ariel was going to the food, and she saw that it was going to be Chinese food, her personal favorite. This was going to be the first time trying out their version of Chinese Food, hoping that this was going to be as good as it was back in the city. Although she was nervous to try it, she at least wanted to give it a taste. If the spaghetti and meat balls tasted good, the Chinese Food would look good. At least the prison food did taste average, it would be worse and it was better than tasting that stale bread they were having every morning. Even though that the stale bread tasted like crap, it was enough to fill up their stomach for the morning. Once she saw the food, she saw that it did look very scrumptious & delicious. She saw that the food contained chicken and rice & there was strawberries that was her favorite fruit. She remembered that fruit was used in the movies for sexy purposes, and she could use it in the bedroom one time with a man or a woman if one day she gets switched. She did look at the fruit & started to smirk at it, as she was getting ideas. She wondered if the food tasted good, so, she started to sniff her bowl of the food and started to eat it slowly & it did taste pretty good. "Hey, girly, the food does taste pretty good, like the city's version is the food." She said, while eating.

Once Holly made it over to her and grabbed her bowl, Ariel looked back to her meal. She grabbed her fork and took some of the food. She placed the food in her mouth and finally tasted it. And once she got a good taste she nodded at Holly when she said it was pretty good. She swallowed her food and smiled, "It really is, not as spicy as I thought." She said before she started to eat more. She was a bit hungry so she wanted to focus on eating.

Ariel would take a portion of the chicken before eating some rice. She wanted to save the strawberries for dessert. She took a sip of water before repeating the process. With each bite she couldn't believe she was liking this so much. Normally she wasn't a big fan of Chinese, but this was delicious.

"I'm surprised how good this is. I mean yesterday was good, but this is even better. Glad we're getting good meals." She said as she gave Holly another smile before taking another bite. And once she started getting full she started to go slower. She wanted to savor the food in front of her.

"So any other stories from New York?" Ariel asked, wanting to get to know Holly a bit more.

As she was eating her food, she thought it tastes pretty excellent compared to the other Chinese food from the city. She did feel surprised that that this food was better than the city food, and at least the cooks in the kitchen make it from scratch. She saw that her roommate, Ariel was enjoying it as well, and Holly could tell that the food was pretty good. That, she totally agreed with, and it did taste surprisingly good. While chewing the chicken, she could taste the savoring flavor and of course, the hard work that the cooks put into their meals. After swallowing what she has eaten, she turned to Ariel and gave her a nod. "Yes, I agree with you. The chicken is not as spicy. I, personally wish that they could be a little more spicy, but, this is fine the way it is." She commented before taking another bite of her meal. She did feel her stomach grumbling, so, she chewed on more of her food, which tasted absolutely tasty. She then took some portion of the rice and more chicken and ate some more of it; Holly wished that she could have the recipe since it did taste pretty good. This meal, although it was prison food, did taste delicious and when going to eat another meal, she was going to be craving for the meat. She was surprised that prison food did not taste bad at all, as a matter of fact, this way on how the prison chef made it was excellent. She wished they could have this every night since it was that good. While eating, she felt thirsty, so, she took a gulp of her water and ate some more. She then heard Ariel mentioning that the food tasted good and Holly nodded, as she agreed. She was surprised that the prison food was pretty scrumptious and very filling. "Yeah, I know. I kept thinking we were going to be having a lot of bad food like other prison places have, but this is surprisingly fantastic. If only we can get out to tell the chef that we need the recipes for them. I have go admit this, but this is not as bad as my expectations. I didn't expect that this prison food is pretty good." She said, and blew a kiss as a complimentary way of saying that the food was good. As she was eating, she was gazing at the strawberries and she was smirking at them, thinking dirty thoughts of what to do with them one day when having sex with someone. As she was about to grab the strawberry, she heard Ariel asking her to tell her more of her backstory. She looked up at her after eating another piece of chicken and nods. "Of course, when I was little, I used to go to a lot of movie screenings with my mother. A lot of them were mainly reboots of the fifties movies, which were my favorite, like "Let's make love". I know every single line from the movie. I even went to a lot of movie related museums with my mom to see a lot of my favorite idols, such as Marilyn Monroe. I also liked to play pretend with my mother when I was a little girl, as she would be the director, and I'm the actress waiting excitedly for my next move!" She was excited as she had those happy memories of her and her mother playing together in the home before her death. She also could tell that she wanted to get to know her a little bit more and she nods, as she did like talking about herself. "I also loved to play dress up, as I admired the costumes in many movies that I grew up with.. I wish I had the pictures with me so, I would be able to show you.." She said, with a small sigh. She only had one picture of her in Marilyn's dress when she was around fifteen, so, she goes into her pocket and shows her. "This is the only one that I have of me in costume. I look at this picture to show that I had a good childhood before my mother died.." She said, showing a soft expression on her face.

Ariel listened to Holly with interest as she finished her food. She was surprised she was able to eat all of the chicken. She had a little bit of the rice left. But she left it as it due to she wanted to eat the strawberries. While she had finished her food she made sure to listen to Holly talk about the great relationship she had with her and her mom. This made her think of her own relationship with her mom.

But she didn't think much of it due to Holly wasn't done. She had brought out a picture of herself. She seemed younger than she was now. She was in a Marilyn Monroe's dress, and she looked beautiful. This made Ariel smile as she looked back up at Holly. "You two seemed like you had a lot of fun." She said before she heard Holly mention that her mother had died. Which made Ariel's smile turn into a little frown.

Ariel placed a hand on Holly's hand, "I know this is something everyone hates to hear. But your mother wouldn't want you to be sad thinking about her. She would want you to think of the happy times. Especially in this place. Plus you don't want to give whoever is in charge of this a way to get to you." She said and gave Holly's hand a little squeeze while a smile crossed her lips.

Ariel then took her hand away from her and started to eat her strawberries. Her eyes closed at the sweetness of the strawberries. They were perfect! She let out a satisfied sound as she continued to eat the strawberry she had in her hand. 

"Too good." Ariel laughed.
