Well, he thought, this isn't going much better.
If there's two things Christoper had learned from his quick trip into the mausoleum it was that, one, people would find any excuse to beat up each other even without being threatened by deaht, and two, his past roommate had indeed died after weeks of lying unconscious in a sofa.
Which is why he wasn't so pleased to see his new roomie just as reactive. It'd been days already, and she still hadn't moved.
Christoper sighed, wondering if he should be more worried about sharing his room with another future corpse, or about how little that was affecting him. His brain had apparently decided he already had enough with his own problems, and his own little mental world was starting to feel almost inviting. If he kept staying around dead people, he would soon lose it for good. He gave a weak look around this still way too over the toply decorated room, or, more importantly, towards the walls. Kida had stopped answering his calls in the room at his right, but he knew from his time into the garden that she was alive somewhere. Maybe he should try his luck with the wall at his left.; he'd never bothered checking up if he had any neighbors over there.
He walked to left wall, and gave it an hesitant knock, unsure of whether or not he would get an answer, his voice just as indecisive.
– Anyone over there?

Her newest roommate was asleep. He wasn't very talkative. But at least she had someone new to talk to, unlike her last two experiences. She had been so scared until they went to the mausoleum. Even then, she had been scared, but at least she hadn't been alone. That was her biggest fear, is waking up, finding out she was the last or she was completely alone with everyone who had died. She shuddered. Why hadn't anyone come looking yet?
She perked up when she heard someone talking. She rolled over before going over to the wall where she heard the knock. The voice sounded familiar. Someone she knew. She glanced over her shoulder at her roommate. Still out. So she would have some time to talk.
"Hello? Who's there?" she called.

– Kida? He instantly responded, surprised.
He glanced at the wall on the other side of the room. He could have sworn... Why... ? True, he also had been moved from a room to another before, but... The idea of the woman being moved from one side of his room to another just sounded... silly, for some reason.
Or maybe, she'd always been on this side of the room. Maybe his head was losing track of simple concepts like directions and sides.
Christopher looked down at his hands. A few days ago, they'd started shaking at random. They were calm for now, but he wasn't sure how much longer he could go untreated. For all he knew, Kida wasn't even there. Until the garden's event, he had even started considering that she might have always been a product of his imagination (after all, she, or her voice, had only appeared to him when he was alone); but Dimitri and the others saw her too, so that was out of the question. But this, now, could still be fake. Yet, it was still better than nothing.
– This... is Christopher. I'm glad to see you're still fine... and to hear your voice... – he made himself more comfortable on the bed, trying not to touch the unconscious woman still lying there. He wasn't faking. Even if he knew she sometimes got scared too, for some reason, she had a soothing effect on him. She'd been his first human contact in this place, and seeing or hearing a familiar person always calmed him down a little. And at least, she was nice and comforting. – … Any better luck with your new roommate?
Both of their roomies had been found dead in the mausoleum. His latest room buddy seemed to be going the same route. Hopefully, Kida wasn't going through the same experience, again.

"I'm glad you're still here." she said.
She was glad to have a friendly face, or rather voice, someone she knew she could trust. Unlike her roommate. She already knew the man was prone to rash action and threat of violence. He tried to kill the bald man. Granted, he had been scared and confused, but he had been close to actually doing it. He was just lucky that others had stepped in to stop him. She only hoped that he would not try to hurt her. She was a little afraid of her roommate. The man could very well lash out and try to end her as well.
"My new roommate was at the garden event. He... tried to kill someone," Kida whispered.
Knowing that Christopher was nearby did take an edge off her nerves, even if he wouldn't be able to do anything if her roommate decided to try to hurt her. Would their captor step in? Probably not. They most likely would watch from the cameras and just take the body down to the mausoleum with all of the others. She would be dumped like a useless toy.
"What about you? Is your roommate okay?"

– You mean the tall man who made such a fuss in the beginning?
Now, that wasn't good news. Christopher had been unconscious for most of that “situation”, but he'd still been awake enough to realise that someone had kidnapped someone else and had threatened to kill him, just to give up after others had stepped in. He hadn't been any more trouble after that, mostly standing around shyly unsure of what to do, until he'd tried to make contact with Celia, who had ended up rejecting him. All in all, it mostly looked like he'd been afraid and confused, and not really violent per se; but still, he seemed prone to extreme reactions if his nerves were pushed too far, and, considering the kind of place they were in, that couldn't be a good thing.
– Has he... hurt you, in any way? Did he do anything to you? – he didn't bother trying to hide the concern in his voice. He'd never met the woman who had kidnapped them, but one thing she'd made clear is that they shouldn't count on her for help. If that man attacked her, Kida was on her own; and for what he could remember, he appeared way bigger and stronger than her. She wouldn't stand a chance.
He almost felt bad answering her question. True, his situation wasn't ideal either, but at least a possibly dead roommate couldn't hurt him.
– She's, well... she's unconscious. She hasn't moved since we're here. I'm afraid she might end up like our past roommates.
Buried in a stone casket with a bunch of other random victims with just as much luck. Christopher took a deep breath and sighed loudly. He didn't want to think he was sharing his room and bed with a future corpse AGAIN. But it seemed to be the case.

"That's him. His name is Adam." she said. "He hasn't... tried anything but I don't know what to think anymore."
She didn't have many people she could trust. Celia had all but dismissed her when they were at the mausoleum, all because Kida happened to know Dimitri from before they were brought to the 'games'. Kida barely knew him even then. They got drunk together, laughed as the ball dropped at a New Years party and danced a little. They even parted ways at the end of the night. No harm. No foul. Vincent was dead so there was no way she could say he was in her corner. Garrett never got up. Christopher was the only roommate who had actually been aware enough to talk to her. The man had grown on her. She was glad he hadn't been in any games because she feared losing him as a friend and as an ally.
"I hope not," she told Christopher.
She didn't want him to go through what she went through. Her roommate had either been dead or never spoke to her the last round and then for a while, she was absolutely alone. She wasn't sure how her sanity was doing with that. Things had been a bit dicey for a while. Being alone left her anxious and paranoid beyond all belief.
"I'll be right here if you need anything," she continued. "Just keep talking to me."
