Wait, did that guy just say his name was Miguel? A few days ago, not long after she had gotten a new roommate, Octavia had noticed that her engagement ring had been switched. She had been devastated, not only because she didn't like the look and feel of the new ring as much as the old one, but even more so because it had had a name she didn't know inside of it. She had no idea what it meant. Why would the kidnapper have given her a ring with the name of a person who appeared to also be kidnapped? Octavia shook her head, she didn't want to worry about that right now. They would have to get that poor girl out, and hopefully find a way out themselves. "Okay, we'll do that," Octavia replied, when the man, named Miguel, commanded it. Octavia and the other woman had no luck. But suddenly Miguel had some luck finding the key. "Oh good, you found it," Octavia said relieved and started walked back towards the cage with the trapped girl.

Kida let out a sigh of relief when the blond man said he found the key. She quickly returned to the cage as he let the woman out. Kida wasn't sure what their captor - this supposed woman - wanted from them. She had yet to make any demands, or give any rhyme or reason for what she was doing. She quickly the thoughts away before joining the others. Perhaps there was something they could do to warm the poor woman up. She looked so sickly and tired it just about broke Kida's heart.
"You did well," she told the man.

{OOC: Sorry, everyone, husband and I went on a spur of the moment day out of town and I haven't been on til just now... And oh, YAY! VAL, YOU GOT IT!}
Evelyn nodded to Kida. "Thank you... I have faith."
She gasped a little when Miguel started climbing up onto her cage. "Careful!" she said, moving back a little as he climbed.
Evelyn fiddled with the strings on her dress in anticipation. Silent prayers went through her mind before Miguel had found the key. A bright smile lit her lips. "Yes, please," she said, as Miguel came and unlocked her cage.
Carefully she moved to the edge of the cage, praying she wouldn't fall out and end up hurt. Holding her breath, she slide out of the cage and landed on the ground. Stumbling a little, she quickly grabbed Miguel's arm for support. "Oh, I'm so sorry..."
Standing up straight, she felt a little light headed. "I'm okay..." she mumbled, staying still until the dizziness passed.

Not long after an invisible gas began sprouting out from the ground, rising up through the soft grass and into her poor prisoners' nostrils. It wouldn't be long now before they were passed out in the grass. At least they had managed to free her little songbird from her cage. She could have some fun with that later.
